Porcelain Bowl — Ad Infinitum

Wheel-thrown porcelain, approx. 44cm diameter.

Trailed lines advance around an off-centre point, each set a fraction of a turn from the last, so the figure never repeats — a progression that could, in principle, continue without end. The colour shifts between teal and rust along each line, beading where the glaze gathers, and the focus sits to one side, a pooled disc of warm sand at its heart.

Hand-decorated; the teal lines are trailed in glaze and stand slightly raised against a ground of locally sourced wood-ash glaze.
