“It's always a pleasure to visit his workshop”

We own a few pieces made by Markus. It's always a pleasure to visit his workshop and view his wonderful creations, and even better to take one home with you! The unusual shapes and beautiful colours of his designs make them pretty unique in the world of pottery. Do yourself a favour and adorn your home with a beautiful Markus Jungmann ceramic.

‘… a treat for the senses’

“A visit to Markus's workshop (and to his partner's yoga studio next door!) is a treat for the senses. When normality resumes, you can drive through the beautiful valley outside Kenmare and happen upon the oasis. I have given many of Markus's pieces as special gifts to friends and family for special occasions over the years and they have always been received with delight. Adapting to these times, Markus's pieces are now available to purchase online and he takes great care with packaging and postage. His pieces are to be treasured, though we use his teapot, mugs and jug for every day use.” Kathryn Crowley

‘… completely amazing, and you can buy some of his works there too’

“This is an extraordinary location in the Ballygriffin mountains where you can visit the studio of a master ceramic artist working in porcelain. Call ahead before you visit, as this is the place where Markus Jungmann works, and when we visited, he was quite busy. You can see pieces of his collections that don't make it to the local or international galleries, many of which are completely amazing, and you can buy some of his works there too.” David Kenny

‘… splashes of copper red against the white porcelain’

“I am thrilled with the teapot cups and vases from the Earth Fire and Water collection. What I personally love about them is the splashes of copper red against the white porcelain. Enjoyed selecting the pieces in your Ballygriffin studio . Thank you for your care and attention with wrapping and packing ‘my collection’ for the journey to Cork.” Patricia O’Dwyer
